The parade started from the old clock tower, passed through the pedestrian streets "Radetzka" and "Aprilovska" and finished at Vazrazhdane Square in front of Gabrovo Municipality. At Radetzka Street the dancers had two improvised stages where they presented their dances. The following groups took part in the parade: Show-ballet Magic, Folklore ensemble “Sivek”, Dancesport Club “Ritmika”, Dancing School “Liana”, Zumba with Vassi, Latino Dance Club Incansable. Dance-music Show on the Square
The first festival evening of the third 6Fest continued on October 5, 2019 with a performance at Vazrazhdane Square with the participation of Show-ballet Magic, Folklore ensemble “Sivek”, Dancesport Club “Ritmika”, Dancing School “Liana”, Zumba with Vassi, Latino Dance Club Incansable. Each of the dance formations presented several of their dances and finally invited all the audience to participate in an open lesson. Children, adults from the audience and dancers danced together in latin, reggaeton, hip-hop and folk rhythms. At the end of the show, the organizer Momchil Tsonev invited everyone to join in a common dance to the song "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. That happened because this was the song to which the most popular YouTube video about our town - “Happy Gabrovo" - was created. 6Fest also showed the talents of several young Gabrovo singers - Victoria Gergova and Margarita Georgieva from the Music School "Stars in Advance" and Iveta Petrova. The finale of the first 6Fest evening was the show of "Fire Shadows". Gabrovo Orchestra under the direction of Nikolay Venkov performed traditional Bulgarian music, including the so popular danve “Dunavsko horo” which made the audience dance. Photographer: Eli Deli
6Fest in the Old Town
The 6Fest street art festival vitalized the old district of Gabrovo called “Shesti uchastuk”. On October 6, 2018 music, dance, theater and magic turned Opalchenska Street into an arts district. Young dancers from the folk ensemble "Sivek" took a walk on the pavement of the old Gabrovo street just like in the 19th century. The girls and boys were dressed in folk costumes. The boys from Quick Hands Junior and the famous Gabrovo magician Dani Belev entertained the guests of the festival with street magic. Latino rhythms sounded near the Aprilov fountain with Radoslav Talev and the young guitarists from the Music School "Stars in Advance". Thestudents from the Youth Theatre "Smehorancheta" presented a humorous theater play. The spectators of 6Fest had the chance to take a picture with the living statues of theatre group "Gargara”. After two international editions of 6Fest mainly on Vazrazhdane Square and the Park with the bear, 6Fest returned to its roots and its beginning - the old district called “Shesti uchastuk”. The name 6Fest comes from the name of the oldest district of Gabrovo. Photographer: Eli Deli
